Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Reactor Graphs, LLC (“Reactor Graphs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information in connection with www.reactorgraphs.com (the “Site”).

We have written this policy to be read rather than skimmed past. The short version: this is a business website. We do not sell personal information, we do not run advertising networks on this Site, and the only information we deliberately collect is what you choose to send us when you contact us.

This policy covers the Site only. Information you provide to us in the course of a professional engagement is governed by your engagement letter and by our confidentiality obligations, which are considerably stricter than this policy.

Information we collect

Information you provide directly

When you complete the inquiry form on our Contact page, or email us, you may provide:

• Your name and the organization you represent
• Your email address and telephone number
• The nature and timing of the matter you are contacting us about
• Any other information you choose to include in your message

Please do not submit privileged, classified, medically sensitive, or otherwise highly confidential information through the Site or by unencrypted email. Neither is a secure channel. If a matter requires confidential handling, tell us that much and we will arrange an appropriate method of communication.

Information collected automatically

The Site uses Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate usage: which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and which channels bring them here. Analytics data is aggregated and we do not use it to identify individual visitors. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, analytics is not loaded at all.

Like effectively every website, the Site is delivered by a hosting provider that generates standard server logs. These logs may include your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, the pages you requested, and the date and time of the request. We use these records for security, diagnostics, and to understand aggregate traffic patterns. We do not attempt to use them to identify individual visitors.

Information we do not collect

We do not knowingly collect biometric data, precise geolocation, government identification numbers, financial account information, or any of the categories of sensitive personal information defined under U.S. state privacy laws through this Site.

How we use information

We use the information described above to:

• Respond to your inquiry and communicate with you about it
• Evaluate whether we are able to take on a prospective engagement, including running conflict checks
• Provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Site, including through aggregate analytics
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or technical attack
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements

We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we do not use information submitted through this Site for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not add people to marketing lists on the basis of a website inquiry.

Legal bases for processing

Where the General Data Protection Regulation or comparable law applies, we rely on the following legal bases:

• Legitimate interests, operating and securing the Site, and responding to unsolicited business inquiries
• Steps prior to entering a contract, evaluating and scoping a potential engagement at your request
• Consent, where you have given it, for example by submitting the inquiry form and affirming the accompanying acknowledgement
• Legal obligation, where retention or disclosure is required by law

Cookies and similar technologies

This Site sets no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. It uses one analytics tool, Google Analytics 4, which sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) to distinguish returning visits so that our traffic counts are accurate. We use this strictly to understand aggregate site usage.

You can decline analytics in several ways: enable the Global Privacy Control signal in your browser or through an extension, and this Site will not load analytics at all; block or delete cookies in your browser settings; or install Google’s own opt-out browser add-on. The Site works identically with analytics declined.

The Site is directed to a United States audience and does not display a cookie consent banner. If we later direct services to visitors in jurisdictions that require prior consent for analytics cookies, we will add a consent mechanism before those technologies are activated there.

Your browser may also cache static files such as stylesheets, fonts, and images to make return visits faster. That is ordinary browser behavior and does not involve identifying you.

Third parties and service providers

A small number of third parties are involved in delivering the Site. Each may receive limited technical information, such as your IP address, purely as a function of serving content to your browser:

• Google Analytics, our analytics provider. When analytics loads (see Cookies, above), Google receives technical information about your visit, including your IP address, in order to produce aggregate usage reports for us. We have not enabled advertising features, and we do not use analytics data for ad targeting. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
• Google Fonts, the Site loads typefaces from Google’s font service. Google receives the request, including your IP address, in order to deliver the font files. Google states that it does not use these requests to create profiles or serve advertising. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
• Netlify, our host and form processor, serves the Site, maintains server logs, and receives and stores submissions from the inquiry form on our behalf. Netlify is contractually restricted from using that information for any other purpose. See Netlify’s Privacy Policy.
• Our email provider, receives and stores messages you send us

We do not permit these providers to use your information for their own marketing purposes.

When we disclose information

We disclose information only in these circumstances:

• To the service providers described above, to the extent necessary to operate the Site
• When you have asked or authorized us to
• To comply with a subpoena, court order, or other legal obligation, or to respond to a lawful request from public authorities
• To establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Reactor Graphs, our clients, or others
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case any recipient remains bound by this policy with respect to information received

We do not disclose client identities or engagement details. Client confidentiality is a core obligation of our practice and is not qualified by this policy.

Data retention

We retain inquiry correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, to maintain conflict-check records, and to meet legal, tax, and recordkeeping obligations. Where an inquiry does not result in an engagement, we generally retain the record for up to three years for conflict-checking purposes, and then delete it. Server logs are retained for a short period consistent with our host’s standard practice.

Security

The Site is served over HTTPS, and we apply administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to a firm of our size and to the limited categories of information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not use the Site to transmit information whose disclosure would cause you serious harm.

Your privacy rights

Regardless of where you live, you may ask us to:

• Confirm whether we hold information about you, and provide a copy
• Correct information that is inaccurate
• Delete information we hold about you
• Stop contacting you

Write to digital@reactorgraphs.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject line. We will respond within the period required by applicable law, and in any event promptly. We may need to verify your identity before acting, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

U.S. state privacy rights

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, and other states with comprehensive privacy statutes may have additional rights, including the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a portable copy of personal information, the right to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, and certain profiling, and the right to appeal a denied request.

We do not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or engage in profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Accordingly, there is no opt-out mechanism to provide. All other rights may be exercised using the contact method above. If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our response, and we will provide a written explanation of any decision on appeal.

California residents may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on their behalf, subject to reasonable verification.

International visitors

Reactor Graphs is based in the United States, and the Site is hosted and operated in the United States. If you access the Site or contact us from outside the United States, understand that your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data protection law may differ from that of your jurisdiction. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms and on the necessity of the transfer to respond to your request.

Children’s privacy

The Site is directed to businesses, government bodies, and other organizations. It is not intended for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, write to us and we will delete it.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We honor the Global Privacy Control signal. When your browser sends GPC, this Site does not load analytics at all, so no analytics cookies are set and no usage data about your visit reaches Google Analytics. The Site engages in no cross-site tracking regardless of the signal, so there is no further tracking behavior for a Do Not Track signal to change.

Links to other sites

The Site may link to third-party websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or the law. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change accordingly. If we make a material change, we will make that clear on this page. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.

Accessibility statement

Reactor Graphs is committed to making this Site usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We have built it to conform substantially with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

In practice, that means the Site is designed to:

• Work fully with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element
• Use semantic HTML, landmarks, and headings that describe the real structure of each page
• Meet or exceed WCAG contrast ratios for text and interface elements
• Respect the operating system’s “reduce motion” setting, which disables all animation
• Remain usable when text is enlarged to 200 percent, and on small screens
• Provide text alternatives for meaningful images, and hide decorative graphics from screen readers
• Function without JavaScript for all essential content
